Hobby FC is an online community dedicated to bringing football fans into the fascinating world of football memorabilia collecting. Our mission is to establish a central hub where collectors worldwide can learn, share, and expand their collections, offering content for novices and seasoned fans alike.

Content Focus

We create content around a variety of interests such as Trading Cards, Football Shirts, Football Books, Magazines, Programmes, Nostalgic Games, TV & Media, and Travel Guides related to football culture. Sample ideas include 'POV' style videos at football stadiums, food reviews near stadiums, travel vlogs for match days, gameplay captures of classic football video games, football game challenges recreating goals, and street interviews with fans and collectors. We welcome creative contributions to generate engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Identify and collaborate with content creators to increase video content output.
• Produce occasional video-first materials for various social platforms.
• Edit and highlight key segments from longer videos.
• Focus on growing engagement on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Edit long-form videos featuring the founder as part of 'The Hobby FC Show'.
• Broaden presence across Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook communities.
• Interact with the football memorabilia community to understand their interests and demands.
• Conduct research on target audiences and current trends to inform content creation.

Requirements

• Passion for football memorabilia and enthusiasm to share it.
• Proficiency or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent video editing tools is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

This role is voluntary and unpaid, given that Hobby FC is an emerging project funded by the founder. There are no set quotas for video production. Though unpaid initially, the founder offers references for future opportunities and intends to share any generated revenue from advertisements or affiliate partnerships with contributors. Should this position lead to direct income, appropriate compensation and expense reimbursements for travel or content-related activities will be provided.

The founder, a content creator with over 2.1 million followers across platforms, promises to credit all creators and share revenue earned by Hobby FC. Ideal candidates might be working professionals with secondary interest in content creation or aspiring creators seeking portfolio experience.
