Overview
Rare Necessity Digital Agency, based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager to oversee and create distinct social media strategies for three unique brands. This role requires in-person presence 2-3 times per week and offers a base salary between $55,000 and $65,000 plus up to $12,000 in performance-based bonuses.
About the Role
Unlike typical social media roles that follow preset content calendars, this position entrusts you with full ownership of the brand voices and strategies across three different audiences: Marketing by Monrae, Ghetto CEO, and Rare Necessity Digital Agency (RNDA). Each brand caters to distinct communities, requiring tailored strategies and creative execution. You will be responsible for content creation, filming, and directing post-production to ensure high-quality, relevant output that drives measurable business results, specifically booked sales calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute individual content strategies for each of the three brands, recognizing their unique audiences and tones.
- Plan and manage filming schedules, executing video shoots on location, at events, and with the production team in Atlanta.
- Create platform-specific copy that aligns with each brand's voice, adapting tone and style appropriately.
- Lead the editing process by directing post-production and maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and report insights to the Marketing Director, with a focus on booked call conversions rather than superficial engagement metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to distinctly maintain and communicate three separate brand voices without overlap.
- Proven skills in content creation and production, comfortable operating camera equipment and managing shoots in varied settings.
- Strong understanding of current platform algorithms and trends for 2026, adaptable strategy execution.
- Keen creative judgment with an eye for emerging formats and relevancy to each brand.
- Self-driven and results-focused mindset; capable of independently managing tasks and priorities.
Performance Metrics & Culture
You will be assessed on your ability to generate 30+ booked calls weekly through your social media efforts, a direct indicator of revenue and impact. This role offers a collaborative environment reporting to a Marketing Director and engaging with a leadership team including a COO and strategists. The agency values direct feedback, strategic input, and hands-on leadership at this level.
