Job Summary
We are hiring an energetic and confident Social Media Executive who is comfortable speaking to camera and producing content that connects with audiences across social platforms. This role is a strong fit for someone at the start of a career in digital marketing and content production, especially if you enjoy making videos, learning quickly, and working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and post engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Appear on camera for reels, videos, product demos, behind-the-scenes clips, and promotional content.
- Support monthly content planning and contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Draft captions, short scripts, and social copy that stay consistent with the brand tone.
- Keep up with platform updates, trending formats, and viral social content.
- Reply to comments and direct messages in a professional and timely way.
- Help with simple video editing, scheduling posts, and executing campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to produce polished content.
- Track post performance and share observations that can improve reach and engagement.
- Represent the brand professionally in all online interactions and on-camera appearances.
Requirements
- A-levels or high school completion is acceptable, and a bachelor's degree is preferred; studies may be completed or ongoing in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Business, or a similar field.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in social media, content creation, internships, or freelance work.
- A confident, lively, and camera-comfortable personality.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in social media platforms and digital content production.
- Basic familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar apps.
- Willingness to learn video editing, content planning, and social media analytics.
- Creative approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle several tasks at once and meet deadlines.
Compensation
This is a performance-linked position with no fixed salary. Earnings are commission-based and depend on the sales generated through your content and marketing work. The better the content performs and the more sales it drives, the greater the earning potential. Commission terms will be explained during the interview. For reference, the average sale is $150.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating your own social content or managing a page for a college, club, or personal brand.
- Basic knowledge of photography and mobile video recording.
- Awareness of current social media trends and influencer-style content.
- A portfolio or sample videos showing on-camera presence is preferred, though not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate
The role suits someone who wants to grow into marketing or an established social media personality looking to build an additional income stream.
