Social Media & Creative Assistant

About the Role

Duo Threads in Midland, Michigan is seeking a creative part-time team member to help showcase its sorority, gameday, collegiate, and custom products, along with a newly launched needlepoint line, across social channels and the website. The role centers on producing polished visual content that matches the brand and feels compelling to customers.

This position begins part-time, with a strong possibility of moving into a full-time role during the busy season.

Pay starts at $18 to $22 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit photography featuring products as well as models and lifestyle settings.
• Produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including Reels, Shorts, behind-the-scenes clips, trend-based content, and unboxings.
• Develop content ideas that align with current trends while staying consistent with the brand’s voice.
• Handle routine posting and publishing across social media channels.
• Maintain a fresh, coordinated visual style across the company’s digital presence.

Required Experience and Skills

• Hands-on experience photographing both products and people.
• Confidence shooting and editing vertical video for social platforms.
• Working knowledge of editing tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, CapCut, Premiere, or comparable software.
• Strong awareness of what is trending in social media and short-form video.
• Ability to interpret and execute brand direction independently.
