Role Overview
Don Ringler Automotive is seeking a full-time, on-site Social Media and Events Coordinator in Temple, TX. This position combines digital brand management with event and promotions work, supporting the dealership’s public image, community presence, and promotional activities.
Social Media Responsibilities
- Build and execute a company-wide social media plan that aligns with brand goals.
- Develop original content and manage the organization’s online voice and presence.
- Track activity across teams and locations to make sure company platforms are used according to approved standards and best practices.
- Drive stronger participation and engagement across social channels.
- Spot opportunities to shape public perception through audience interaction and representation of the brand’s social media approach.
Promotions and Events Responsibilities
- Create and run a public relations program that strengthens relationships with local businesses and improves positive brand recognition for the dealerships.
- Plan and coordinate events and programs such as golf tournaments, charity drives, promotional campaigns, and fundraisers.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and event venues.
- Prepare dependable financial reports and ensure payments are collected on time.
- Keep event spending within budget.
- Oversee events and respond quickly to any issues that arise.
- Anticipate possible situations that could affect event quality or continuity and plan accordingly.

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Background in social media, customer service, and sales.
- Comfortable using computers with strong organization and follow-up skills.
- Able to understand written instructions and information clearly.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
