Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Content Manager to lead our organic social media presence. Joining our dynamic and growing creative team, you will report directly to the Creative Director and hold significant responsibility for shaping Stash's brand voice and visual identity across social platforms. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on content creation, including collaborating with external creators as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the organic social media strategy across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others.
- Develop a content direction grounded in a clear understanding of brand identity and audience engagement.
- Set measurable goals for organic growth, audience interaction, and community vitality, then track progress consistently.
- Create original content by shooting, editing, and writing.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform formats, and cultural shifts, adapting content to fit Stash’s voice.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar balancing planned initiatives with dynamic, responsive posts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to integrate social content with wider campaigns and new launches.
- Advise and support paid social advertising efforts by providing insights from organic content performance.
- Analyze performance data to optimize content creation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years managing organic social channels for a brand.
- Robust portfolio showcasing content you have personally created, including shooting, writing, and editing.
- Experience in formulating and implementing comprehensive social content strategies.
- Proven ability to source, brief, and manage external creators and talent, including budgeting responsibilities.
- Strong intuition and informed perspective on effective social media practices.
Preferred Skills
- Background in fintech, consumer finance, or similarly regulated sectors.
- Knowledge of social listening and analytics tools to assess performance.
- Proficiency in motion graphics or advanced editing beyond basic app functionalities.
- Interest and familiarity with AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
