About the Role
We are currently recruiting Skilled Helpers to strengthen our Offshore Logistics team operating within the Oil & Gas sector on offshore islands (UZ/SARB Operations) in the UAE. This role involves assisting in offshore lifting and rigging activities with a strong focus on health, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support offshore lifting and rigging tasks under the guidance of certified Slingers or Riggers.
- Interpret and apply international crane hand signals correctly during lifting and moving heavy equipment.
- Operate and assist in the handling of chain blocks and other lifting apparatus safely.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and company standards.
- Participate in emergency response procedures when required.
- Contribute to site safety initiatives, including reporting through HSE Observation Cards.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- Possession of a Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of five years of experience in oil and gas field services.
- At least six months' recent (within two years) experience in offshore lifting operations.
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of crane hand signals used internationally.
- Skilled in the use of chain blocks.
- Capability to work effectively under supervision.
Mandatory Certifications
- Valid Rigging Training Course certification.
- Accredited third-party competency certification related to rigging and lifting operations.

- Ability to work cooperatively within a team, particularly in offshore environments.
- Physically fit to endure the demands of offshore work settings.
