Overview

Skills Group seeks a highly organized and proactive Site Coordinator to join our Trades Training team on a permanent full-time basis at our Christchurch campus with additional support for the Nelson campus. The role is crucial for maintaining smooth daily operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for learners, tutors, employers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities of the Christchurch campus while providing support to the Nelson location.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service across multiple channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Manage scheduling of classes, learner records, attendance tracking, assessments, and overall course administration.
  • Coordinate facility management, resource allocation, supplier relations, and logistical requirements to facilitate effective training delivery.
  • Develop and nurture strong partnerships with internal teams and external parties to optimize learner experiences.
  • Address operational challenges proactively while upholding rigorous health, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Prior experience in administrative tasks, site coordination, or office operations within a dynamic setting.
  • Self-driven and methodical with the capability to juggle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dedication to providing exceptional customer service and fostering relationships.
  • Strong communication abilities and confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail paired with a calm, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with business systems such as Learning Management Systems or student management software.
