Site Civil Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Civil Engineer to oversee the execution of exterior construction works such as pergolas, penthouses, gazebos, decks, and cladding at our Bengaluru sites. The engineer will be responsible for reading and preparing detailed architectural drawings, coordinating with architects and clients, and guiding material selection.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities involving pergola, penthouse, gazebo, deck, and exterior cladding installations.
• Interpret and develop exterior layout, elevation, and shop drawings; collaborate closely with architects and clients on technical aspects.
• Advise on selection of materials including mild steel (MS), wood, wood-plastic composites (WPC), glass, polycarbonate roofing, and waterproofing solutions.
• Conduct site surveys, take accurate measurements, perform level checks, and verify alignment to ensure project accuracy.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, running account (RA) bills, and monitor material usage for exterior projects.
• Engage with clients to discuss design alternatives, present material samples, and address site-related inquiries promptly.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety by ensuring waterproofing integrity, structural stability, and finishing align with design requirements.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office; familiarity with Lumion and Revit is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of pergola structures, MS fabrication, carpentry, glazing, waterproofing techniques, and exterior lighting systems.
• Excellent communication skills in Kannada, Hindi, and English to effectively liaise with onsite teams and clients.
• A keen design sensibility, readiness to travel to project locations, and strong client management abilities.
