Sign Production & Installation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional in signage production and installation to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with a robust background in fabricating and installing a variety of indoor and outdoor signs, ensuring precise execution from fabrication through to on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, assemble, and install diverse signage types for both interior and exterior applications.
• Prepare surfaces properly for vinyl graphic application and other sign installations.
• Apply vinyl graphics meticulously, adhering to production instructions.
• Affix and laminate printed materials while maintaining high quality standards.
• Install various signage formats, including ACP/aluminium cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, wayfinding and directional signs, concrete bases, and frames.
• Operate power tools and installation equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret production drawings and installation guidelines accurately.
• Perform thorough quality inspections before and after installations.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain tools and work area cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety protocols during all fabrication and installation tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Between 4 to 10 years of professional experience in signage production and installation.
• Proven expertise with indoor and outdoor sign mounting techniques.
• Practical knowledge in vinyl application, lamination, and graphic mounting processes.
• Experience handling ACP cladding, channel letter fabrication, and structural installations.
• Proficiency in using various power tools and fastening hardware.
• Ability to interpret drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.
• Focused attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient time management.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working at heights and performing the physical demands of lifting.
• Willingness to travel for job-related installations as necessary.
• Competent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience within GCC countries is highly preferred.

Applicants currently based in Qatar or those possessing past experience in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations will be given priority consideration.
