Shift Planner III

About the Role

At HYVE Solutions, we strive to support our customers, business partners, and employees by aligning goals, strategies, resources, and advanced technology to achieve success. We are seeking a Shift Planner III to manage and execute production planning for large volume manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain build plans for high-volume production operations.
• Verify accuracy and integrity of work orders before release.
• Balance production lines to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Authorize release of work orders for material requisition and production initiation.
• Ensure all production planning reports are accurate and current at all times.
• Maintain daily communication with Manufacturing Operations and Material Supply teams.
• Collaborate effectively across departments, including Inventory Control, Material Supply, Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality assurance.
• Monitor and report on daily and weekly build plans, order statuses, and demand forecasts.
• Respond promptly to program management's requests regarding customer prioritization.
• Identify challenges or delays in meeting production schedules and escalate issues as necessary.

Qualifications

• Completion of technical school for two years preferred, or equivalent related experience in production planning.
• A minimum of five years working in a production environment is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data-backed communication and record keeping.
• Ability to quickly comprehend internal planning systems (such as MPS) including their processes, capabilities, and constraints.
• Exceptional coordination and teamwork skills across diverse departments to fulfill customer commitments.
• Capability to work in a standard office environment involving prolonged sitting, standing, and keyboard use.
• Willingness and ability to undertake shift work as required.
