Job description

Position Overview

Aurex is collaborating with a trading firm to recruit a Settlement Analyst focused on cargo assurance. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the precise validation and settlement of inspection-related invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing invoices for compliance during intake.
  • Confirming the accuracy of charges billed.
  • Managing exceptions and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborating closely with Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Correcting invoices and managing resubmissions as needed.
  • Performing system updates and overseeing payment processing.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and controls.
  • Monitoring processes and proposing improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Have between 6 to 8 years of experience in financial operations, settlements, procure-to-pay functions, accounts payable, or roles requiring invoice validation, cost control, and compliance-focused tasks.
  • Competent in handling rate cards, pricing frameworks, and contract terms.
