Role Overview
We are hiring a Service Team Associate to help create a welcoming experience for guests and deliver dependable service in a team-oriented setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active during the day, and learning new skills on the job. Prior experience is not required, as training is provided. You will also have opportunities to build capabilities that can support long-term career growth and contribute to community initiatives through Panda Cares.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests, serve food, and process payments at the register.
- Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and visually presentable.
- Follow operating standards and food safety practices to help ensure food is fresh and high quality.
- Support different areas of the operation as needed, including the front counter, drive through, or kitchen.
- Work closely with teammates to help the location meet daily targets in a positive and energetic atmosphere.

Qualifications
- Warm, helpful, and team-focused attitude.
- Previous operations experience is an advantage.
- Some high school education.
- Food handler certification may be required depending on local rules, and any related cost would be paid by the employee.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position can involve a hot work area with steam and food vapors, limited workspace, long periods of standing, and fast-paced service demands. Employees should be comfortable preparing both hot and cold food items, using kitchen equipment including a Chinese cook knife, and moving quickly while staying accurate. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch counters to serve guests. Kitchen conditions may also include high noise levels, limited storage, and shelving placed at a height. Strong verbal communication, flexibility in a changing environment, and the ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations are important.
