Role Overview

The Supply Chain team is expanding alongside Azurity's global presence. The Senior Supply Planner position is vital for ensuring consistent product availability through management of external manufacturing partners. This role requires expertise in supply planning within a fast-paced international environment, combining independent decision-making with effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update monthly supply plans for assigned Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), incorporating demand forecasts, inventory, purchase orders, and lead times.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders and rolling forecasts aligned with approved supply plans to ensure timely materials availability.
  • Monitor and follow up on open orders with CMOs to verify delivery schedules; proactively identify and escalate any delays or risks.
  • Keep track of inventory levels compared to demand and planning parameters; promptly highlight potential shortages, surpluses, or risks of obsolescence.
  • Manage daily supply challenges, including urgent replanning, order revisions, and coordination with internal departments.
  • Maintain and validate master data related to supply planning such as lead times, safety stock, minimum order quantities, lot sizes, and purchasing conditions for assigned SKUs.
  • Engage in regular communication and planning meetings with CMOs and internal teams to synchronize supply status and upcoming requirements.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations, investigate variances, and support corrective measures to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • At least 4 years of comprehensive end-to-end pharmaceutical supply planning experience, including working with international CMOs.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with fluid priorities and evolving business demands.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred; functional proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities paired with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven success in collaborating across functions and externally with partners.
  • Skilled in managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Proactive learner with adaptability and a positive attitude.
