Senior Staff Engineer Digital Design

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and optimization of digital micro-architectural designs derived from specified architectural requirements to deliver superior and efficient solutions.
• Design complex Digital IP independently or collaboratively, ensuring the accomplishment of project targets.
• Work closely with architecture, verification, and implementation teams to enhance designs and facilitate effective verification and implementation cycles.
• Maintain focus on meeting performance, power, and area goals throughout the design phases.
• Conduct linting, RTL synthesis, and design-for-test (DFT) activities to confirm design feasibility and ensure successful RTL sign-off.
• Participate actively in design reviews and technical discussions to continuously elevate design standards and performance.
• Produce and upkeep comprehensive design documentation to promote knowledge transfer, alignment, and smooth project execution.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Possesses a minimum of five years of relevant experience designing complex Digital IPs with proven expertise.
• Expertise in writing superior RTL code that is optimized for performance and minimal area, informed by a strong grasp of RTL-to-gate-level implementation processes.
• Proficient in frontend design methodologies and workflows.
• Experienced in requirements-driven development methodologies and familiar with safety-critical product standards, especially ISO 26262.
• Effective collaboration skills, capable of communicating progress, challenges, and resolutions clearly within multidisciplinary teams and to stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, supported by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
