Role Summary

As a Senior or Principal Consultant, you will be an influential member of the team, responsible for leading by example, delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates, and driving business growth through new client acquisition and strong relationship management. You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes and help match candidates to suitable roles within the accounting and finance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients by generating leads, negotiating terms, and securing exclusive business relationships while maintaining and developing existing accounts.
• Manage multiple client relationships, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds client expectations and service level agreements.
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including planning and executing recruitment campaigns both short and long-term.
• Identify, assess, and present top-tier candidates to clients for interview consideration.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Assist management in identifying developmental needs and act as a deputy when required.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in an agency environment, specifically within accounting and finance.
• Proven track record in business development and new client onboarding within the accounting and finance recruitment desk.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting mid to senior level accounting and finance professionals.
• Consistent professional growth in prior recruitment roles, ideally with evidence of promotion.
• Reliable history of meeting and exceeding placement targets in recruitment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and rapport-building skills with senior executives.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics, professionalism, and integrity.
• Passion for sales and client management, able to perform under pressure to achieve goals.
• Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with strategic, commercial, and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Creative problem solver adept at delivering innovative recruitment solutions.
