Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level advisory services to senior management on strategy formulation and execution, including efficiency and transformation initiatives tailored to cargo and cruise shipping businesses, as well as port and terminal operators, including turnaround cases.
• Lead multifaceted transformation and optimization projects emphasizing digital innovation and sustainability spanning the maritime operators’ and infrastructure providers’ value chains.
• Develop and implement innovative business models and service offerings in shipping operations, port services, and the cruise sector.
• Drive operational excellence through process and performance enhancement initiatives across core and support areas such as fleet and terminal operations and asset utilization.
• Manage smart infrastructure projects focusing on automation, data-driven operational control, and system resilience.
• Assume full project management responsibility, actively contribute to business development, and design new consulting services.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree with distinction in industrial engineering, business administration, or related disciplines, preferably concentrating on maritime management, logistics, or operations.
• Multiple years of consulting experience oriented towards the shipping, cruise, or port industries, coupled with relevant sector knowledge.
• Proven track record in hands-on project management from goal setting through to successful delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership and team motivation skills, utilizing clear objective setting, structured problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Passionate about strategic thinking, operational excellence, and entrepreneurial approaches.
• Fluency in English and German, coupled with readiness to travel as required.
