Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a leading, regulated manufacturing company based in Waterford. This permanent, onsite position offers a visible role partnering closely with senior leadership to influence business strategy and lead key people-focused initiatives within a fast-moving manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and management to implement people strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across departments, acting as a trusted advisor on all personnel matters.
  • Lead and manage employee and industrial relations activities, including union engagement.
  • Provide expert counsel on disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management issues.
  • Support and facilitate organizational change initiatives and enhance change management capabilities.
  • Oversee workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development programs.
  • Assist recruitment efforts for various functions and levels within the company.
  • Participate in salary review processes, headcount planning, and compensation strategy.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to deliver insights supporting business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Strategic and commercially minded HR professional skilled at relationship building and resolving complex HR challenges.
  • Holder of a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight years' progressive HR experience.
  • Strong background in employee and industrial relations.
  • Proven experience in supporting leaders within fast-paced operational environments.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-oriented approach to workforce planning and HR decision-making.
  • Experience working within a unionized manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
