Job description
Role Overview
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will oversee daily HR functions including recruitment, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle management at our Ahmedabad office. This position involves collaboration with the US parent company's HR team to align HR processes and uphold a professional work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, encompassing candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and final selections.
- Collaborate with department heads to assess manpower needs and prioritize hiring requirements.
- Develop, examine, and revise job descriptions across all roles within the company.
- Advertise job vacancies on multiple recruitment platforms to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct telephone screenings, organize interviews, and maintain a well-stocked candidate pipeline.
- Ensure smooth onboarding through timely documentation, issuing offer and appointment letters, setting up IDs, and maintaining employee records.
- Facilitate induction programs to support new hires in integrating effectively.
- Organize monthly events focused on employee engagement, celebrations, and team building.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel files, attendance records, leave management, and biometric system operations.
- Prepare comprehensive HR MIS reports and dashboards regularly for management evaluation.
- Administer employee exit processes, including resignations, final settlements, and exit interviews.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, manage statutory registers, conduct HR audits, and submit required statutory filings on time.
- Address employee grievances confidentially and in accordance with company guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Bring 2 to 3 years of practical experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
- Sound knowledge of Indian human resource legislation, statutory adherence, and HR documentation practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment and regulatory compliance management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with various stakeholders.
- Strong multitasking abilities, effective prioritization, and deadline management.
- Impeccable organizational skills with a focus on documentation and record accuracy.
- Capable of working independently and engaging effectively with senior leadership.
- High standards of confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
