Job Overview
This role involves managing the execution of exhibit and trial batches as well as commercial product launches within the pharmaceutical packaging domain. The position requires hands-on oversight on packaging material preparation, packaging batch documentation, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure product and process quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee execution of exhibit batches, trial batches, and commercial launches.
- Prepare and review operational packing material listings, packaging material specifications, base documents, and bill of materials.
- Develop and maintain batch production records including PAS-X and SAP documentation, in-house labels for exhibit batches, pack split-ups, and pallet matrix details.
- Review artwork, shade cards, and print proofs to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and approve various protocols and related reports.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development and Quality Assurance teams for defining and validating primary packaging material specifications, packaging standards, and test procedures.
- Initiate and review change controls, deviations, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), ensuring all related actions are resolved within prescribed timelines.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Educational qualification of Master's degree in Pharmacy or Packaging Technology, or a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- Proven experience of 8 to 12 years in a similar pharmaceutical packaging operations role.
