Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment efforts at our Series A stage edtech startup. In this critical role, you will collaborate directly with our founders to shape the team and company culture by hiring functional heads and key personnel who will help define our future. This position is full-time and requires in-person work five days a week at our New York City Gramercy office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including creating job descriptions, candidate sourcing and screening, conducting interviews, reference checks, background verification, and extending job offers.
• Work closely with co-founders to identify and bring on board key leadership and management team members, devising recruitment strategies aligned with our high-growth objectives.
• Develop and implement innovative recruitment methods that leverage data insights and creative sourcing to attract top-tier candidates across various departments.
• Champion Inspira's employer brand to ensure the company is perceived as an attractive destination for outstanding talent.
• Provide weekly recruitment reports and updates to founders and hiring managers to track progress and refine strategies.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience and maintain compliance with recruitment policies.
• Generate detailed sourcing and pipeline reports evaluating candidate quality and hiring data.
• Support organizational workforce needs assessment and manage all external job postings for roles under your purview.
• Perform additional recruitment-related tasks as required.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of comprehensive recruitment experience within scaling startups, preferably having recruited across multiple functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Support.
• Proven success hiring for senior roles including Heads of Department, senior and management levels, and C-suite positions.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced working environment.
• Strong collaboration aptitude and experience using applicant tracking systems, specifically Greenhouse, along with proficiency in tools like Google Suite, LinkedIn, and Slack.
• Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats, supported by strong project management and data analysis capabilities.

Compensation

The role offers a base salary of $120,000 annually plus a performance bonus between $20,000 and $30,000, with actual pay reflecting experience, skills, and geographic factors.
