Role Summary

The Civil Engineering division offers extensive services in transport infrastructure including site planning, earthworks, grading, drainage, terrain modeling, and flood impact assessments, supporting road and rail projects. We are expanding our Civil team by recruiting a Senior Civil Drafter to oversee the preparation and management of precise design drawings for complex infrastructure projects, adhering to Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and inspect detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation throughout design, construction, and as-built stages.
• Lead the delivery of drawing packages ensuring accuracy and uniformity.
• Compile and distribute drawings and documentation aligned with project and client standards.
• Oversee drawing registers, document control, and organize file management efficiently.
• Maintain and update drawing libraries and standard details.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams to synchronize project deliverables.
• Coordinate with CAD Manager and Lead Designer to uphold drafting standards and workflow processes.
• Ensure all outputs comply with Australian standards, governmental authorities, and internal quality protocols.

Candidate Profile

You possess extensive experience as a Senior Civil Drafter with proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation and a sound understanding of civil and rail infrastructure projects. Familiarity with OpenRoads or Civil 3D is beneficial but not required. You hold an Associate Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Your knowledge extends to Australian road and rail authority protocols, codes, and standards. You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, are self-reliant, organized, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment while effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
