Role Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as a key analytical resource supporting growth for globally recognized Colgate-Palmolive brands. Your role involves translating complex datasets into pragmatic business strategies to drive success. You will work closely with global teams to create impactful dashboards and automated intelligence solutions using advanced technologies such as Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, DOMO, and Sigma. This position ensures leadership gains precise market and consumer insights essential for excelling in a dynamic digital market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Competitive Intelligence tools and standardized business trackers that clearly present market trends and growth opportunities.
- Integrate and correlate diverse data sources including marketing, finance, and point of sale information to connect business objectives with technical analytics.
- Collaborate extensively with corporate, regional, and local teams to understand requirements and deliver effective, sustainable analytical solutions.
- Manage all stages of data lifecycle including verification of data quality, resolving inconsistencies, and automating insights generation leveraging Generative AI.
- Work closely with data engineering groups to build and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines on platforms like Snowflake, DBT, and GitHub.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, statistics, or an MBA.
- Experience handling third-party data such as syndicated market data (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, IRI), point of sale, and ecommerce data.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data insights or analytics roles.
- Experience engaging with clients or stakeholders to comprehend business needs and develop hypotheses.
- Proficiency in data transformation tools including SQL, Python, Snowflake, DBT, and GitHub.
- Familiarity with data visualization software such as Tableau, DOMO, Lookerstudio, or Sigma.
- Strong abilities to interpret, analyze, and present data visually.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for business interactions.
- Advanced presentation and data visualization abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or working with automated insights solutions.
- Background in the consumer packaged goods sector.
- Hands-on experience with Competitive Intelligence tools.
- Readiness to explore and implement new technical tools and methods.
- Proficiency in facilitation and project management.
