Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to manage and supervise our financial operations in Mumbai. This role demands expertise in financial transaction oversight, precise financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations to sustain the company’s financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, prompt financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow summaries.
• Manage core accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Review and sanction accounting records and journal entries.
• Lead the compilation of annual budgets and forecast financial performance.
• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Stay compliant with tax obligations, preparing and submitting returns for GST, TDS, and others.
• Keep abreast of current financial laws and best accounting practices.
• Coordinate with auditors during yearly audit cycles to ensure data integrity.
• Establish and oversee internal controls to protect assets and promote financial accuracy.
• Guide senior management with financial strategies involving investments, cost control, and growth plans.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior accountants; collaborate with finance and operations teams for optimized processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CA or CMA are advantageous.
• At least 5 years senior-level accounting or financial experience, ideally in corporate or manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise preparing financial reports, managing audits, and ensuring tax compliance.
• Skilled in accounting software including Tally and QuickBooks, alongside Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong command of accounting standards, regulations, and tax legislation.
• Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of multitasking and self-directed work.

Compensation

The compensation for this position ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
