About the company
Entropico is an international creative business working across advertising and entertainment. The team blends strong ideas, compelling storytelling and new technology to help brands connect with audiences and culture. Its environment is collaborative, energetic and built around experimentation, speed and originality.
About the opportunity
This freelance assignment is for a senior hybrid professional who can bridge clients, creative teams and production teams. The right person will translate briefs into complete projects and keep everything moving from initial strategy through final delivery.
This is not a conventional account role. The position calls for someone who can go deep into each brief, manage several projects at once and stay on top of timelines, budgets and cross-functional teams. The work is fast-paced and varied, with a strong focus on large-scale B2B work for a major client.
The remit includes digital campaigns, major event content and video production, covering everything from social-first design and animation to anthem films and high-volume keynote content for US events.
Engagement details
Employment type: Freelance contract
Engagement period: August to October 2026
Pay: Day rate is negotiable and applicants are asked to include their expected day rate.
Working arrangement: Full-time, 5 days per week, with an expectation of 40 working hours plus reasonable extra hours when needed. Because the role supports global teams, availability may be required from 7:00am AEST into the evening, and weekend work may be needed during peak delivery periods. Flexibility will be discussed with the selected candidate where possible.
What you will do
You will serve as the main contact for key clients, support new business conversations, manage approvals and keep senior stakeholders aligned. You will also lead campaign and production delivery, support team resourcing during busy periods, and keep budgets, retainers, invoices and forecasts in order. In addition, you will work with business development on proposals and pitches, identify growth opportunities within current accounts, and ensure every project stays strategically aligned and creatively strong.
Project scope
The role covers a wide mix of work, including digital campaigns, event-led content and video production. Examples include social and paid digital assets with design, animation and AI-generated visuals; high-volume big-screen keynote materials for US events; and video projects such as case studies, anthem films, live shoots and other post-heavy deliverables.
Experience and background
Applicants should bring at least 6 years of experience in agency or in-house environments. Backgrounds in account management, client services, creative advertising, marketing, content or production are all considered, provided the relevant project and stakeholder management skills are in place.
Priority will be given to people with experience in B2B marketing, technology clients, start-ups, or digital/event content agencies.
A working understanding of post-production workflows is important, particularly where design and animation are involved. You should also be comfortable working globally across time zones, handling high-volume content pipelines, managing multiple video formats, and adapting creative for social and paid digital channels. Experience with AI-enabled visual tools, event deadline pressure and large-format keynote delivery will be valuable.
Working style
The ideal person is highly detail-oriented, confident with senior stakeholders, calm under pressure and able to protect the quality of the work while navigating shifting priorities. A solutions-first mindset, strong workflow thinking and an appetite for improving processes, especially with AI, will help you succeed.
Additional notes
Production experience is strongly preferred. A degree in Business, Marketing or Communication is desirable but not mandatory.
Entropico values people who work well independently and collaboratively, contribute to the quality of the output and help the wider business succeed.
Inclusion statement
Entropico aims to hire talent from all backgrounds and is committed to an inclusive workplace where people feel they belong. Candidates from historically marginalised and oppressed communities are especially encouraged to apply.
