SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Package Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll components including payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
• Deliver both technical and functional expertise in payroll processing, configuration, and integration areas.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve EC-to-ECP replication issues to ensure smooth payroll replication processes.
• Investigate payroll system errors, review system logs, and address configuration challenges to identify root causes promptly.
• Support payroll processing activities including simulations, regular payroll runs, off-cycle runs, and postings to finance systems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive payroll configuration documentation and technical design specifications.
• Assist with HR Support Package (HRSP) upgrades, payroll support packs, and implementation of SAP payroll notes.
• Work collaboratively with integration teams on payroll interfaces relating to HR, benefits, and finance systems.
• Participate in system testing phases such as System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Provide subject matter expertise during payroll implementations, system upgrades, and country-specific rollouts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree preferred; bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HRIS, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
• Certified in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP SF certification) is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll schemas, payroll rules, wage types, and configuration procedures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot payroll processing errors and replication challenges effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing global payroll environments.
• Familiar with EC-ECP replication frameworks, payroll integration mechanisms, and payroll posting workflows.
• Experience supporting HRSP upgrades and implementing SAP payroll notes.
