SAP ABAP HANA Consultant

Role overview

This position is for an SAP ABAB HANA Consultant with strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments. The role calls for someone who can build, support, and troubleshoot ABAP solutions, with solid exposure to workflows, CDS, AMDP, RAP, and integrations. A successful candidate should already have at least one full S/4HANA implementation to their credit and be comfortable working on technical issues in a fast-moving enterprise setup.

Key skills and technical scope

• ABAP development on SAP HANA, including object-oriented ABAP
• S/4HANA knowledge, with certification required
• CDS views, AMDP, and RAP development experience
• Workflow design, support, and issue resolution
• OData services and Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA)
• Reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms
• SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 support and troubleshooting
• Performance improvement and debugging
• Enhancements such as user exits and BAdIs
• Integration knowledge and understanding of cross-module processes

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ABAP solutions for the S/4HANA platform.
• Convert business and functional needs into technical designs and working code.
• Create, support, and troubleshoot workflows, interfaces, reports, and Fiori apps.
• Improve performance and diagnose difficult technical problems.
• Work closely with functional consultants across different SAP modules.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP HANA development.
• Must hold S/4HANA certification.
• At least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation project is mandatory.
• Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting capability.
