Role overview
Virtusa Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst in Hyderabad. The role calls for someone with solid functional experience in Salesforce, data and analytics, and business areas such as finance and sales. You will work closely with teams across functions to capture requirements, translate them into functional specifications, support solution design, and help deliver application and data-driven processes successfully.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, collect requirements, and shape solutions on the Salesforce CRM platform.
- Build, configure, and support complex workflows, process automations, and integrations within the Salesforce environment.
- Carry out software testing to support timely delivery and maintain quality standards across projects.
- Guide junior team members on Salesforce best practices, configuration management using JIRA, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce, especially Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; CPQ knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Practical exposure to finance and sales processes, including lead management, opportunity management, pricing and quoting, invoicing and billing, and revenue recognition concepts.
- Good understanding of data lifecycle, ETL concepts, data modelling, and reporting structures.
- Ability to prepare detailed user stories, BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and use case documents.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Lucidchart or Visio.
- Working knowledge of Excel and basic SQL is preferred.
- Exposure to Power BI or Tableau will be considered an advantage.
- Capability to analyse data, identify trends, and generate insights.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in Agile or Scrum teams.
Eligibility
Applicants are welcome even if they do not have a graduation degree.
Additional information
This is a full-time role based in Hyderabad, India. The compensation is INR 18,00,000 to INR 25,00,000 per year.
