Job Summary
In this pivotal role, you will oversee sales planning across the region by generating reliable sales forecasts, driving business planning efforts, supporting alignment of inventory and supply, and securing commercial goals through insightful, data-driven decisions. This position holds accountability for regional PDCA activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process engaging key stakeholders.
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales forecasts.
- Examine profit pools, market tendencies, customer demand, and business performance to guide planning.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and country teams to synchronize forecasts and plans.
- Track sales results relative to targets and suggest corrective measures as required.
- Prepare management reports on sales planning monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Assist with budgeting and volume planning endeavors.
- Recognize risks and opportunities influencing sales results and recommend mitigation tactics.
- Ensure precise availability of planning data, reports, and dashboards.
- Promote continuous advancement of forecasting methods and planning workflows.
- Develop the regional PDCA framework and coordinate consolidation of local market PDCAs.
- Monitor execution of PDCA activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales planning, business forecasting, or commercial operations.
- Strong analytical aptitude and quantitative proficiency.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and other forecasting software tools.
- Experienced in working within cross-functional and multinational settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Competent in interpreting data into practical business strategies.
- Effective project management and problem-solving skills.
