Role Overview

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA is seeking a Sales Executive in Doha, Qatar to help expand business across key hospitality segments and support revenue growth for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and develop fresh business from corporate, government, leisure, airline, travel trade, and wholesale markets.
  • Arrange regular sales visits, client meetings, and property walkthroughs to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
  • Strengthen long-term relationships with current accounts to secure repeat revenue.
  • Draft and share sales proposals, quotations, contracts, and related agreements.
  • Discuss pricing and commercial terms while staying within the hotel’s approved rate structure.
  • Market guest rooms, meeting spaces, event venues, dining outlets, and other hotel facilities.
  • Track down sales leads and turn enquiries into confirmed bookings and business.
  • Work closely with Reservations, Revenue Management, Front Office, Banquet Operations, and Marketing to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Keep client details and sales interactions updated in the CRM database.
  • Observe competitor movements, market shifts, and customer needs.
  • Represent the hotel at trade fairs, networking gatherings, exhibitions, and sales trips.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports for sales performance tracking.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries, quotations, and contract-related follow-ups.
  • Handle client issues quickly and in a professional manner.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and support overall department revenue targets.
  • Adhere to hotel policies, brand requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.

Experience and Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in hotel sales, business development, or a comparable commercial position.
  • Prior hotel experience is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in managing corporate, government, leisure, or travel trade accounts.
  • Background in winning new clients, managing accounts, and negotiating contracts.
  • Knowledge of the local hospitality market and an existing professional network will be beneficial.
