Role Overview
This full-time, remote position as a Sales Agent involves identifying and engaging potential customers, presenting insurance offerings, and recommending suitable products based on clients' unique circumstances. Responsibilities include following up on leads, nurturing client relationships, and delivering ongoing support to maximize customer satisfaction and policy retention. Daily tasks involve conducting virtual meetings or telephone calls, generating quotes, handling application processes, and maintaining precise records within company systems. Collaboration with internal teams and active participation in training and regulatory updates are also essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively seek and connect with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits tailored to individual requirements.
- Manage client interactions and ensure follow-through from initial contact through policy issuance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update sales records using company tools.
- Participate in training programs to stay current with product developments and compliance guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities to build and sustain professional client relationships.
- Strong sales expertise including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals to achieve sales goals.
- Basic comprehension of insurance principles and skill in articulating product advantages clearly.
- Willingness to learn continuously, adapt, and share insights to promote team growth.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and virtual communication tools is desirable.
- Integrity, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently are important traits.
- Prior experience in insurance, finance, or sales sectors, along with diplomas, degrees, or certifications in business or related disciplines, is advantageous.
