About the Role
East Alabama Health is hiring a Room Attendant for Environmental Services in Auburn, Alabama. This role supports a mission focused on high-quality, compassionate care, while maintaining strong standards for service, cleanliness, and cost awareness.
What You’ll Do
After the work area is assigned, you will complete routine daily cleaning as well as terminal cleaning to help keep patients, visitors, and staff safe. The job also involves delivering attentive customer service and reflecting the organization’s core values in day-to-day interactions with both internal teams and external guests.
What We’re Looking For
No formal education is required for this position, and prior experience is not mandatory. However, candidates must be able to speak and understand English well enough to follow instructions and respond to requests from patients and staff. You should also be able to read and understand chemical labels. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with previous housekeeping experience, especially in a healthcare environment.
