Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Create, program, and optimize software for 6-axis industrial robotic systems.
- Deploy and commission robotic cells and automation solutions directly at customer locations.
- Integrate robots with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), conveyor systems, vision systems, sensors, and end-effectors.
- Enhance robot pathways to reduce cycle times and ensure proper process validation.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), installations, commissioning, and provide ongoing production support.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within robotic setups and implement improvements to processes.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, control systems, and project management teams to guarantee project success.
- Generate robot backup data and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and commissioning reports.
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff on system operation and upkeep.
- Travel extensively across India to manage project execution, commissioning, and provide technical assistance while strictly upholding industrial safety regulations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience programming and deploying industrial robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, Kawasaki, or Nachi.
- Familiarity with PLCs from manufacturers like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, and knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- A good understanding of pneumatics, servo mechanisms, machine integration, and overall industrial automation technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills paired with effective customer interaction abilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical disciplines.
