About the Role

The Reward Specialist at Carlsberg Britvic in Dublin 10 is pivotal in refining and advancing the company’s total reward offerings. This role works closely with HR teams and business partners to design, deliver and continuously enhance competitive, compliant reward and benefits schemes that align with corporate goals.

The position entails managing compensation, benefits, and reward frameworks with an emphasis on governance and operational efficiency. It also supports strategic reward initiatives, ensuring alignment with Carlsberg group standards, and aids wider People & Culture efforts such as pay transparency, organisation structuring, and Employer Value Proposition (EVP) development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage annual compensation cycles including salary reviews, market benchmarking, and budget planning with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee bonus and incentive programs by handling calculations, governance, and clear communication to employees.
  • Develop and refine reward frameworks like job architectures, grading systems, and salary bands.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leadership to offer well-informed guidance relating to reward decisions.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of benefits and wellbeing schemes such as private healthcare, pension plans (defined benefit and defined contribution), Cycle to Work, and flexible benefits.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with external benefits providers ensuring service quality and value for money.
  • Analyze market trends to recommend improvements that boost employee engagement, wellbeing, and competitiveness.
  • Manage the company car fleet programme, aligning policies, coordinating suppliers, managing costs, and supporting sustainability goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment laws, assist with gender pay gap reporting through accurate data and explanatory narratives.
  • Maintain thorough controls and documentation to support audit preparedness and continual process improvements.
  • Provide comprehensive reward analytics such as pay trend analysis, bonus distribution, and benefits usage to inform strategic decisions.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in reward, compensation, and benefits roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish reward practices and legislation.
  • Proven track record administering salary reviews, bonus schemes, and benefits programs.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Meticulous with a strong emphasis on accuracy and governance.
  • Effective communicator able to present complex reward-related topics in simple, practical language.
  • Experience working with external providers and managing contracts effectively.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The salary band for this role is between €65,000 and €75,000 annually, depending on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. The company emphasizes equitable and transparent pay practices.
