Retail Supervisor - Broadway Plaza

About the Role

SKIMS, an innovative brand specializing in underwear, loungewear, and shapewear, is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join their Broadway Plaza location in Walnut Creek, CA. This individual will lead by example on the sales floor, fostering an inclusive and high-performance environment, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Supervisor will play a critical role in daily operations, coaching, and driving team success while embodying SKIMS's values.

Primary Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused approach by providing warm, personalized service and exemplifying these behaviors for the team.
• When acting as Sales Floor Captain, oversee sales zones, coach team members, and motivate the salesforce.
• Ensure operational excellence through accurate cash handling, adherence to opening/closing procedures, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Coach team members on effective selling techniques, product knowledge, and styling advice to align product features with customer needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to support ongoing learning and professional development within the team.
• Assist in onboarding new employees and reinforce brand standards, values, and store policies consistently.
• Keep updated product knowledge, support launch and restock activities, and maintain optimal floor presentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet store KPIs by monitoring sales, setting team goals, and recognizing achievements.
• Work alongside leaders to manage inventory, uphold visual standards, and ensure product availability.
• Maintain direct and respectful communication that helps cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Handle customer concerns promptly and empathetically, taking ownership to resolve issues effectively.
• Support the execution of daily action plans, including zone assignments and shift summaries in partnership with store leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within retail, ideally in fashion or similar industries.
• Genuine passion for SKIMS's mission emphasizing innovation and inclusivity.
• Strong leadership qualities with the capability to inspire and rally a team under fast-paced conditions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and customer connections.
• Ability to analyze sales data and feedback to elevate team performance and business outcomes.
• Meticulous attention to detail with commitment to visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Confidence in conveying expectations, delivering feedback, and addressing challenges constructively.
• Physical ability to be on feet throughout shifts, move within the store, reach and lift items up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Full-time availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
• Preference for candidates who do not intend to pursue influencer roles.
