Job description
Job Summary
The Retail Assistant will carry out various retail tasks at the designated outlet, ensuring smooth operation and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retail activities including operating the Point of Sale (POS) system and processing multiple payment methods.
- Pack customer purchases efficiently and carefully.
- Restock, organize, and display products on shelves as needed.
- Monitor product expiration dates to maintain stock quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store through daily housekeeping.
- Respond to and assist customers promptly and courteously.
- Handle stock replenishment and inventory tasks.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the store manager.
Requirements
- Availability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong service orientation with an ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items and handle frozen goods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
