Restaurant Manager

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure everything runs efficiently. This role involves supervising both service and kitchen teams while maintaining excellent customer service and upholding high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant activities to guarantee smooth functioning.
• Lead and manage all staff including kitchen and service personnel.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve complaints.
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness adhere to established standards.
• Maintain staff attendance, manage duty rosters and schedules.
• Control inventory levels, minimize wastage, and optimize operational expenses.
• Coordinate between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
• Monitor daily sales, handle cash properly, and assist with basic reporting tasks.
• Train and motivate the team to boost service quality and productivity.
• Maintain discipline and cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Prepare the restaurant for daily operations and uphold high presentation standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least four years experience as a Restaurant Manager or Floor Manager.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operational practices and customer service excellence.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, billing procedures, and sales reporting.
• Preference for candidates with casual dining or fine-dining experience.
