Residential Cleaner

Role Overview

Our client seeks a dependable and detail-conscious Cleaner to service residential properties, handling move-in and move-out cleaning, rental turnovers, and ensuring properties are ready for occupancy or showings. This independent field role requires professionalism, organization, and experience.

Key Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning at various residential locations, including move-in, move-out, and rental turnover tasks.
• Clean all major living spaces: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures following company standards.
• Remove dust, debris, garbage, and any leftover materials.
• Wipe and sanitize counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
• Clean inside major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed.
• Identify any additional cleaning needs, repairs, maintenance issues, junk removal, or other follow-ups prior to inspections or tenant moves.
• Document work via clear before-and-after photos and videos.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, and communicate professionally with tenants, property owners, and internal teams after each cleaning.
• Adhere to cleaning checklists, instructions, access protocols, and appointment details strictly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, residential cleaner, cleaning contractor, or similar.
• Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards.
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
• Possess necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
• Confident working independently at residential properties.
• Own an iPhone 13 or equivalent high-quality camera smartphone capable of capturing clear images and videos.
• Able to compose clear written updates and notes post visit.
• Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to follow detailed instructions and checklists accurately.
• Effective and respectful communication skills with clients and team members.

Desired Skills

• Experience with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning services.
• Familiarity with preparing residential properties for showings, inspections, or new tenancy.
