Role Overview

The position of Rescuer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hazira, Surat, Gujarat, emphasizing operational safety within industrial settings. Responsibilities include executing and assisting in rescue activities involving heights, confined spaces, and other hazardous conditions in strict compliance with safety protocols. The role entails participation in safety drills, equipment inspection and maintenance, and supporting training by demonstrating proper rescue techniques. The Rescuer must adhere to standard operating procedures, work collaboratively with trainers and safety personnel, and respond immediately and effectively during emergencies. Maintaining physical fitness, following regulatory guidelines, and contributing to ongoing safety improvements are integral to this role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a diploma in Industrial Fire and Safety is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency in conducting rescue operations, working at heights, and confined space safety is essential.
• Knowledge of disaster management, fire safety practices, and emergency response protocols is required.
• Experience with scaffolding safety, rigging and slinging, and proper use of safety equipment is expected.
• Ability to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and strictly follow industrial safety procedures.
• Relevant certifications in industrial safety, rescue operations, or emergency response will be advantageous.
• Good physical condition is necessary, along with readiness to work under demanding conditions and shifts of 12 hours.
• Immediate availability for joining is required.
• Experience in industrial safety, fire rescue, or similar fields is preferred.
