Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps professional to assume responsibility for comprehensive environment setup, deployment, and release management within a leading banking institution based in Singapore. This role demands expertise across various infrastructure components and collaboration with multiple technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee application setup, build processes, and release deployment cycles.
- Configure and manage infrastructure encompassing continuous delivery, batch processing, applications, databases, and Cloudera NiFi environments.
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery workflows.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Splunk, Geneos, and Truesight.
- Administer SFTP, user access permissions, SSL certificates, firewall rules, and DNS configurations.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot environment-related issues promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in DevOps, release, or environment management roles.
- Robust practical knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Unix operating systems.
- Proven expertise with Cloudera Data Platform, specifically Apache NiFi.
- Proficient in CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Familiarity with version control systems including Git, Bitbucket, and Aldon.
- Experience working with monitoring platforms like Splunk, Geneos, or Truesight.
- Additional exposure to container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of enterprise deployment and release procedures.
