Overview
The Relationship Manager for the CAT Channel plays a key role in boosting life insurance sales by managing and developing partnerships with corporate agency channel partners. This position focuses on fostering strong relationships, generating business opportunities, and meeting sales targets within the life insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enhance rapport with designated Corporate Agency partners.
- Facilitate life insurance sales through partner branches and sales personnel.
- Discover new business avenues and generate high-quality sales leads.
- Carry out regular visits to partners, organize training sessions, and deliver product presentations.
- Encourage partner staff to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Support partners during customer meetings and collaborative sales activities.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams to ensure policies are issued on time.
- Track daily sales outcomes and compile management information system (MIS) reports.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and maintain policy persistency.
- Ensure all activities adhere to IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
- Promote additional sales by cross-selling and upselling life insurance products tailored to client needs.
