About the Role
An exciting vacancy has emerged within the East Region Recruitment Services as a Recruitment Advisor. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day recruitment operations, delivering recruitment advice and solutions relating to processes and procedures to service users. The advisor supports the Regional Recruitment Team Lead and Recruitment Services Manager in establishing efficient processes and systems within the ERRS, while also contributing to the broader NHS Scotland Recruitment Services objectives.
Work Location and Style
The role primarily operates from multiple bases including Edinburgh, Livingston, Glenrothes, and Melrose, offering flexibility in the choice of base for the successful candidate. The position accommodates hybrid working arrangements blending office and home working or can be fully office-based at one of the ERRS sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering friendly and courteous first-contact services to employment seekers.
- Supporting recruitment operations and procedures effectively on a daily basis.
- Assisting recruitment leadership in refining and implementing recruitment systems and workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven administrative experience relevant to recruitment functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with a demonstrated ability and confidence to learn new software systems.
- Highly organized with excellent customer service skills, able to handle pressure and manage competing priorities independently.
- Ability to communicate understanding of the role both in application and interviews.
