Role overview
JAM Event Services is looking for a Regional HR Administrative Assistant to support the Regional HR Director across the Middle East. The position is based in Media City, Dubai, and is intended to begin on a freelance basis, with a possible move into a full-time role from September.
The starting date is stated as 5 August 2026, subject to confirmation. The monthly pay is AED 14,0000.
Key responsibilities
- Draft employment contracts, amendments and other HR-related documents.
- Keep employee files and HR records up to date and well organised.
- Assist with onboarding and exit processes for employees.
- Handle coordination for visas, work permits and related employment paperwork.
- Support administration of medical insurance and employee benefits.
- Track leave and absence information.
- Maintain HR systems and employee databases.
- Prepare HR reports, trackers and other routine documentation.
- Help with payroll administration and liaise with Finance teams when needed.
- Organise, store and archive HR records in both physical and digital formats.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant holds a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar discipline. Strong written and spoken English is essential, while Arabic language skills are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in office administration or HR support is required, along with familiarity with the Middle East work environment or regional culture.
Skills and capabilities
The role calls for strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus the ability to learn HR software quickly. The candidate should be comfortable drafting basic letters and contracts, managing records, working with data, and supporting payroll-related tasks.
Attention to detail, discretion, good time management, strong organisation, and the ability to work well in a multicultural team are also important.
Additional requirements
As this is a freelance arrangement, the candidate must already have a UAE visa and medical insurance, and be able to obtain an NOC.
Working arrangement
The role begins as a freelance contract and may convert into a full-time position from September.

Salary is listed as AED 14,0000 per month.
