About the Role
As a Regional Field Application Specialist for LC-MS/MS at PerkinElmer, you will act as the technical expert for our LC-MS/MS product range in close collaboration with specialized customer advisors. Throughout the sales cycle, you will advise customers on analytical applications and methods tailored to meet their research goals. Your expertise will also support the post-sales phase to ensure customer success and contribute to achieving sales targets. Additionally, you will design and lead regional training sessions for both customers and internal sales and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sample measurements and device demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of our products.
- Engage in sales-enhancing interactions with customers during product presentations, company events, seminars, trade fairs, and conferences.
- Support sales staff during proposal and closing stages and assist service personnel in the post-sales phase as a technical authority.
- Provide customers with application and product expertise after sale to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Plan and deliver LC-MS/MS product training sessions for clients and internal teams on a regional basis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field; PhD is preferred.
- Practical experience in organic mass spectrometry, preferably LC-MS/MS.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel approximately 50% within the assigned region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Ideally, experience in sales and support roles in the LC-MS/MS product line field service.
- High level of responsibility, self-initiative, and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and English.

Minimum education
Master's Degree
