About the Role
We are seeking a Reddit Marketing Specialist for a remote, freelance/contract position where you will be responsible for fostering genuine conversations, engaging with relevant Reddit communities, and enhancing organic brand visibility while adhering to Reddit's community guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover subreddits where the target audience is active and engaged.
- Devise and implement a Reddit marketing plan that aligns with the company's brand objectives and goals.
- Create authentic, community-centered posts and comments that add meaningful value.
- Establish trust by engaging consistently in relevant discussions.
- Spot authentic chances to integrate products without breaching subreddit regulations.
- Track brand mentions and participate in relevant dialogues.
- Initiate discussions about products, gather customer feedback, share educational content, and present case studies.
- Monitor traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversions derived from Reddit activities.
- Provide regular reports detailing campaign performance, insights, and potential growth areas.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in Reddit Marketing, community management, organic social media, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated success in organically promoting products or services on Reddit.
- Deep knowledge of Reddit culture, subreddit rules, moderation practices, karma systems, and account credibility management.
- Capability to encourage engagement without overt promotional content.
- Experience with D2C, e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle, SaaS, fintech, or B2B sectors is desirable.
- Possession of credible Reddit accounts or experience managing established Reddit communities is valuable.
- Strong written communication, storytelling, and skills for fostering community interaction.
