Job description
Position Summary
Become part of an enthusiastic and supportive team that values collaboration and enjoys working together. This role provides ownership over your portfolio, allowing you to shape it according to your vision. You will recruit for frontline positions that positively impact tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau wellbeing.
Role Responsibilities
As a specialist in sourcing and volume recruitment, you will serve a diverse group of stakeholders. Your key duties encompass managing the complete recruitment lifecycle for a variety of high-volume positions and collaborating closely with hiring managers to tailor recruitment tactics. Candidate experience remains central throughout your activities.
- Offer expert advice and support to hiring managers on effective selection and interview methods.
- Handle job advertising to ensure maximum outreach and engagement.
- Actively search for and engage candidates through job portals, social media platforms, and talent pools.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience in fast-paced, end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles.
- Previous recruitment experience in New Zealand either in-house or agency-based.
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service and timely delivery.
- Collaborative approach with insight into navigating complex government frameworks.
- Ability to prioritize effectively while managing competing demands.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferably experienced in recruiting customer-facing roles in New Zealand.
- Knowledge and respect for cross-cultural practices, particularly tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples' culture.
- Creative sourcing techniques that delve deeper than typical talent pools.
- Experience using SnapHire recruitment platform is an advantage.
