Job description
Overview
GoodEarth, a company dedicated to creating sustainable communities, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 4 to 7 years of professional experience to contribute to their Saarang project in Kannur, Kerala.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform detailed quantity take-offs.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Analyze tenders and quotations to support procurement decisions.
- Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle and manage variations effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Architecture, Structural, and MEP consultants to ensure coordination.
- Interpret engineering drawings with a fundamental understanding to assist design coordination.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in residential construction projects.
- Strong expertise in quantity surveying, cost estimation, preparation of BOQs, and proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with design coordination is a beneficial addition.
