Overview

We are seeking a competent Quantity Surveyor based in Karachi, Pakistan, to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves managing cost estimation, quantification, budgeting, and commercial controls for civil and interior fit-out projects from tender inception through to final account settlement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Bills of Quantities (BOQs), perform cost estimates, and conduct quantity take-offs for civil and interior design fit-out tasks.
  • Develop detailed rate analyses covering materials, labor, and specialized finishing works.
  • Prepare and validate Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), running bills, variations, and finalize accounts.
  • Assist in tendering processes, procurement activities, and in assessing subcontractor bids.
  • Coordinate closely with teams across design, interior design, MEP, site operations, and procurement to ensure cost alignment.
  • Monitor project costs, evaluate changes in design scope, and compile monthly cost reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain accurate commercial records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management is required.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for civil and interior fit-out projects.
  • Experience working with commercial, residential, or hospitality projects is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil construction and interior fit-out materials.
