Role overview
This opportunity is with a well-established FMCG food and beverage brand with a long-standing heritage in the market. The role focuses on strengthening food safety and quality management across manufacturing operations, with impact spanning Singapore and export markets across Asia.
The business has a regional manufacturing network and is investing continuously in manufacturing excellence, innovation, and long-term capability building in quality and food safety.
What you will do
You will take ownership of the full quality management function across manufacturing operations and help shape a strong culture of food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement.
The position involves maintaining and improving quality systems such as ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, supplier quality, laboratory management, process validation, and regulatory compliance across local and export markets.
You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain on new product introductions, CAPEX validation, supplier development, and manufacturing improvements.
In addition, you will lead and develop the quality team, act as the main owner for audits and customer quality performance, manage complaints, and drive strategic quality initiatives.
Requirements
The role calls for a degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related discipline.
Applicants should bring around 10+ years of experience in FMCG food or beverage manufacturing, along with solid leadership exposure in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Strong hands-on knowledge of food safety, quality systems, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance is essential.
You should also have a proven history of handling audits, improving processes, and building effective, high-performing quality teams.
