Quality Assurance Tester

Overview

Altak Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join their team. This position requires a strong background in both manual and automated testing, particularly within AI-powered applications, including chatbots and machine learning solutions. The role demands familiarity with software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and defect tracking tools, coupled with excellent analytical and communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Perform thorough manual and automated testing of software products, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Test AI-based applications and evaluate their functionality comprehensively.
• Utilize API testing tools like Postman or Swagger to validate service endpoints.
• Track defects and manage projects using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps.
• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies actively in daily workflows.
• Analyze issues effectively and provide solutions to improve software quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant disciplines.
• Minimum of five years' experience in software quality assurance and testing roles.
• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing processes.
• Experience working with AI-powered applications, including chatbots and AI agents.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and SDLC.
• Proficient with API testing and defect/project tracking tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalents.
• Skills in evaluating AI prompts, outputs, prompt engineering techniques, and large language model performance.
• Familiarity with AI testing frameworks and evaluation methods.
• Use of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, model validation, and AI quality metrics.
• Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
